When I was having dinner, a classmate came over and took a seat.

Classmate said, “How much?”

I said, “$41. How about you?

Classmate said, “I’m not hungry.”

Classmate said, “Something is really annoying.”

I said, “About what?”

Classmate said, “The church music worship is so annoying.”

I said, “What is so annoying?”

Classmate said, “I’m responsible for teenage worship. Every time the teenagers lead the music worship, all the music they choose is what they like.”

I said, “They choose the music the like for teenage music worship. Little problem at all. What music do they usually pick up?”

Classmate said, “All they choose are the modern ones but none are the traditional ones. 90% of them are for expressing their feelings. It’s hard to look for one that praises the Lord.”

I said, “Hey! Their own concert? Nearly every song is for expressing their feelings? You’re the person-in-charge. You tell them to strike a balance in their song choice.”

Classmate said, “I’ve told them already. The younger generations won’t listen to you. They talk back.”

I said, “I’d ask which word, in which verse, at which chapter and of which book in the New Testament does not apply to which scenario?”

Another me said, “You’ve joined Bible studies for 10 years and led Sunday school for 5 years. No doubt you know what to talk back about! But I’ve neither joined nor led Bible studies before. How could I have known what to say?”

I said, “So you’re going to take no responsibility and let them to say whatever they want, blurring or distorting the truth?”

Another me said, “No.”

I said, “If not, why haven’t you started studying the Bible?”

Another me said, “I haven’t yet because I have no idea where Bible study classes are offered.”

I said, “If you want a face-to-face one, go to a church. If you want an online one, I’ve got one right here. Why haven’t I heard any request from you, having been promoting our Bible studies to you for so long?”
