Yes, because the source of provision is not those who don’t know my need, but the Lord who knows well my need.

Suddenly, a person walked near from behind.

Student said, “Mr. Yip.”

I said, “Hello, on the same way.”

Student said, “Yes, I’m taking the Tuen Ma Line home.”

I said, “I get it.”

Student said, “Mr. Yip, are you teaching English in Colleges?”

I said, “Yes. After teaching you guys this summer, I’ll be doing something else.”

Student said, “What are you doing in September?”

I said, “Full-time music studies.”

Student said, “Wow, you don’t look like you know music. Where are you studying in September?”

I said, “Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.”

Student said, “Which program?”

I said, “Bachelor of Composition and Electronic Music.”

Student said, “How long is it?”

I said, “4 years full time.”

Student said, “So you’ve earned enough to cover your school fee and living expenses.”

I said, “Haha, not really. I still get to look for some part time jobs when the term starts.”

Student said, “Have you found it?”

I said, “Not yet.”

Student said, “Let me introduce one to you.”

I said, “What! What job is it?”

Student said, “Teaching English in a higher diploma programme for social work.”

I said, “When?”

Student said, “Weekday evenings.”

I said, “Which institution?”

Student said, “My company, Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA).”

I said, “OK.”

Student said, “WhatsApp you the PDF recruitment.”

I said, “Great. Thank you.”

Student said, “The deadline is July 25th.”

I said, “Apply for it tonight.”

Another me said, “Where does the student come from?”

I said, “Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT).”

Another me said, “HKCT? When did you start teaching there?”

I said, “Since July 3rd.”

Another me said, “It’s just been 2 weeks. You both have known each other for quite a while, don’t you?”

I said, “For 2 weeks.”

Another me said, “For 2 weeks? Then your student came over and introduced a teaching job to you?”

I said, “Blind? Nothing weird!”

Another me said, “It does sound weird to me. How on Earth does someone that has met you since 2 weeks ago know that you are going on full-time studies in September, what’s more, even that you need a part-time teaching job for your study life?”

I said, “Nothing weird. The first one that introduces to me a teaching job is not the student who knows little about my need, but the Lord, who knows all that I need.”
